Newsletter | 2nd December 2022

The sleigh bells are starting to jingle and I’ve seen shepherds and stars…it must be nearly nativity season! Please make a note of forthcoming events, including concerts and performances, which we hope you will join us for. Look out for news about our fantastic school production of Matilda too! In this week’s newsletter you will find a huge range of praise for students across the school for their exemplary work, effort and progress. Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of spending time with children in Years 3-6 in their reading lessons, and was impressed to see their engagement in the wonderful books they are reading and the sophisticated comprehension skills they are developing – keep up the great work! We have also had the news that many of our Year 13 students have been invited to interview at Oxford and Cambridge universities – a huge achievement in itself to get the interview opportunity. Our former student and Cambridge graduate, Michael Tucker, has been working with them closely, through our Oxbridge Excellence programme, to prepare them for their next stages and we wish them every success. Have a lovely weekend. Mrs Cross Read the full newsletter here
